Through parent group meetings with a CAYSI family consultant,
person centered planning with local community support,
and other AEFD community advocacy connections:
PARENT
MEETINGS
Regional parent groups meet on a monthly basis with a CAYSI representative to provide support and assistance to families of deafblindness.

These meetings are proven to be invaluable for equipping with resources and building resilience of parents and families.
PERSON CENTERED PLANNING
Every individual with deafblindness deserves the best their community has to offer.
​
Through Person Centered Planning, a roadmap is laid out for the developmental progress of the individual with the support of key persons within their sphere of community.
This special focus group takes responsibility within the community of ensuring the individual is included and valued, and guided through developmental stages.
AEFD COMMUNITY CONNECTION
We want to connect with parents of children of all ages impacted by deafblindness in the State of Arkansas.
